Langdale Capital Assets currently farms over 700 acres of land, and almost 350 acres of pecan trees.  The majority of this farm land is under center pivot irrigation. Primarily, this land is used to grow and harvest corn, cotton, peanuts and other row crops.  The row cropland is farmed by Randy Dowdy, the nation’s leading corn yield producer.  He has consistently harvested over 350 bushels/acre of corn over the last several years, and in the process, receiving numerous state and national awards.

Langdale Capital Assets owns and manages over 22,000 acres prime South Georgia timberland. This timberland is managed with an emphasis on quality growth of pine trees, while also maintaining the natural beauty of the land.

Langdale Capital currently leases out over 20,000 acres of land to local outdoorsman for hunting and fishing. Tracts in hunting leases range in size from 175 acres to 4,000 acres. Some of the timberland is used in the production of pine straw. The picture above is an example of areas used for the harvesting and utilization of pine straw. This pine straw is baled and is used by landscapers and homeowners wishing to put pine straw around their homes or businesses.
